My research interests include the ecology of marine gastropods, and how different factors such as parasitism and pollution alter their ability to reproduce, compete, and avoid predation.  I am also highly fascinated by the beautiful internal morphology and inner-workings of the functional systems of polychaete worms illustrated through histological investigation.

Publications and Presentations

Poster presentation, given at the 8th International Polychate Conference (July 2004) entitled; "A histological investigation into the internal anatomy of a new species of commensal polychaete from the family Nautilineillidae at the Blake Ridge methane hydrate seep."

"I think we consider too much the good luck of the early bird and not enough the bad luck of the early worm." FDR
