Deukum Electrodialysis Module

Electrodialysis is a good method to remove electrolytes from aqueous solutions without subjecting samples to conditions of extremely high or low pH. Deukum type 320 electrodialysis module consists of 65 standard ion-exchange membranes (32AMX, 33CMX), with an effective membrane area of 320 cm² per membrane. It has 32 cell pairs (thickness 0.5mm) and a total membrane area of 1m².

Application:

• Desalt natural organic matter solutions without significant loss of dissolved organic matter (DOM)
• Coupled with reverse osmosis to desalt and concentrate enough amount of DOM from fresh waters and seawater for mass spectrometry and NMR analysis.
