Interview with Jacques Zaneveld

     Jacques Simon Zaneveld served from 1959-1975 as a faculty member and Chairman of the Biology Department and founder of the Department of Oceanography.  The interview discusses Zaneveld's background in the Netherlands, various research grants and projects, expeditions to the Antarctic (where the "Zaneveld Glacier" was established in his name), the development of oceanography at ODU, changes to the Biology Department, and environmental concerns.  Click here to find out more.
