Students can apply for the SWIM Internship Program-Students With an Instructional Message (PowerPoint File)

Come and work with a master teacher as a teacher assistant this summer while spending your afternoon free time enjoying our 38 miles of coastline on the sandy shores of the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay.

Designed for those college students who plan to start careers as School Library Media Specialists, or Teachers of Chemistry, Earth Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Special Education, our program seeks to provide pre-student teaching college students the opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience before beginning their student teaching assignment during their final year of study. Come work with our great staff and students so that you too can be ahead of the curve!

Program Highlights
Summer school
begins on June 27, 2006 and ends on August 8, 2006
Hourly pay at $12.50 ($1,875 for 150 hours)
Production of Sample Lesson Plans
Mentorship of a Master Teacher
