| Sea Camp for ages 6-8 involves exploration and discovery of marine life in and around our local waters. Activities include daily trips to marshes and beaches, a trip to the eastern shore, collecting live specimens, and classroom activities. The week will end with a trip to the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, linking together what has been learned. | |

| Sea camp for ages 9-12 will explore our local marine life and learn how to maintain species in their own classroom aquarium. Activities include a more in-depth study of marine life by collecting and handling specimens, field studies,a trip to the Eastern Shore, and various classroom activities. The week will end with a trip to the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. | |

| Sea camp for teenagers (ages 13-17) will give teens exposure to all areas of the marine and estuarine environment. The Teen Sea Camp will provide more in-depth involvement in field and laboratory activities, including fish dissections, kayak excursion, sampling on the Eastern Shore, and a boat outing on the new departmental research vessel, the R/V Fay Slover. | |

Sea Camp will be housed in the Oceanography/Physical Sciences building which is located at 4600 Elkhorn Ave., between 43rd and 49th street on the Old Dominion University campus.
Sea Camp is a day camp which begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. daily. (there is no before or after care for campers) |
