• Marija raskovic received the Student Presentation Award at the 3rd International Workshop on Thin Films and New Ideas for Pushing the Limits of RF Superconductivity.

• C.J. Oakley awarded the 2008 HACE Rookie Staff Memeber of the Year Award.
• Lepsha  Vuskovic has been selected to receive the 2008 Doctoral Mentor Award.
• Jan Drake receives honorable Mention at the Research Expo for her poster "Gas Kinetic and Experimental Studies of Martian Entry Plasma."
• Sebastian Kuhn is awarded the 2008 Faculty research Award by Old Dominion University.

2007

• Congratulations to Sebastian Kuhn who was elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society "For his leadership on measurements of the nucleon structure functions, in particular in the non-perturbative and valence region
