SPS Pumpkin Drop

The SPS Annually Hosts a Pumpkin Drop on the South Lawn of the 9 Story Batten Arts and Letters Building. The event is typically held during Halloween.

Trips

The Society routinely takes trips to various locations for 'hands-on' activities and to learn about opportunities not available in other places.

In February of 2006 the ODU Chapter visited the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in  Greenbank, WV.

ODU's close proximity to NASA (Langley) and Jefferson Lab allow for extensive tours of these amazing facilities.
