The mission of the Instructional Support Shop is to assist the Physics Department Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistants in providing the highest quality physics education to our students.
This assistance includes:
Development & construction of lecture demonstrations
Management & maintenance of the undergraduate teaching labs
Development & scheduling of lab experiments
Training, supervision & scheduling of lab instructors
Development of lab manuals used in the undergraduate labs
The instructional support staff additionally:
Manages the department's physical resouces inventory
Provides basic computer repair and support services for the Physics Department
Assists in on and off-campus, community service physics demonstrations |
