Psy.D. Students Please Note: You will need to download the PsyD Title/Accept.dot template AND one of the three complete templates of your choice. Check with your major professor when choosing the style for your dissertation. Copy/Paste instructions for the Title/Acceptance page are on page 2 of this template.
Please note that you will have to copy and/or delete various portions of the
template. A very good method would be to have a complete second copy of
the template of your choice as a source for copying.
Some Guidance/Hints:
| 1. |
Place cursor in appropriate area and type information. |
| 2. |
Delete unnecessary information but don't delete section breaks. |
| 3. |
Page numbering: |

The Title/Acceptance page and Abstract pages should already be formatted such that no page numbers will be printed. Otherwise, place cursor on each page , select page numbering and deselect "show number on first page". |
| II. |
Move cursor to the page following the last Abstract page (copyright page if you use this) and choose page numbering. Enter the position as top of page and the appropriate page number (iii if the Abstract is only one page). |
| III. |
Go to page 1 and set page numbering; select "show number on first page". |
| 4. |
For Table of Contents, List of Tables, List of Figures, etc., use copy & paste and delete as necessary to maintain proper formatting. |
| 5. |
Chapter headings - cut and paste as needed. |
| 6. |
Literature Cited: The exact wording for this section should match the wording used in your Model Journal. |
| 7. |
Insert the Model Journal statement as a footnote on page 1; after entering the text, delete the superscript number in the footnote. |
| 8. |
Clicking on the Show/Hide button on the top menu bar will aid with formatting/spacing corrections. |
