Prehealth Advisory Committee
The Prehealth Advisory Committee (PHAC) was established as an application clearing house and evaluation service for those students wishing to apply to a post graduate professional health program. Examples of programs include medical, dental, optometry, veterinary and pharmacy.
WHO: Any student wishing to apply to a post graduate professional health program may use the PHAC service.
WHAT:The PHAC provides:
interview skills assessment
joint letter of recommendation
sends an application package including recommendation letters to post graduate programs of student's choice
WHERE: The PHAC is located in the Office of Undergraduate Initiatives, room 131 of the Ocean & Physics building (OCNPS).
WHEN: Any student wishing to attend a post graduate health professional program should stop by the PHAC office to talk to an advisor. The advisor can give the student pointers on the application process, and the earlier the application process is started, the better!!!
