Be READY:Prepare for each and every class period.

SET goals: Establish long and short-term goals that will help you achieve success.

SET deadlines:If you set a deadline for a task or goal, you will be more likely to finish in a reasonable amount of time.

SET your alarm. Be prompt to class.

SET aside time to study. You should study 2 hours for every hour of class time. That hour between classes is a great time to study.

GO to help sessions: If there are no help sessions, seek out a study group, or form your own.

GO to class. Attendance is important and will help you get a better grade.

GO for the "A:" Aim for high grades and you will get them. Don't settle for lower grades.

In addition remember to

  • Keep up with homework and assignments.
  • Read the assignments, and review before class. Don't procrastinate.
  • Manage your time wisely… there are only 168 hours in the week.
