As an important "link" to the many activities of our College, you may submit items for this newsletter by simply e-mailing SciNews@odu.edu.  Photos are welcome, too.  You may send digital photos or we can scan a print.
 

We are looking for Items of Interest: What does that mean? Well, pretty much anything that students, staff, faculty and alumni are doing is of interest! Some questions that may help guide your thoughts are:

Did you receive an award lately?
Did you publish something?
Did you receive a scholarship, new appointment, or honor?
Did you take an exciting trip (in the name of science, of course!)? Travel Abroad?
Have or are you participating in a study abroad, internship, or co-op program?
Are you using your educational experience in an interesting variation of the intended career goal?
What kind of research project have you been involved in?
Have you presented your research at a conference recently?
Do you have an interesting hobby?
What special programs or committees have you served on?
What are you doing with your education? Did it take you somewhere unexpected?

Come on, don't be bashful, step up and be heard!
