R/V Fay Slover Update


The expected delivery date for the College’s new research vessel, the Fay Slover, is August 30th. To view work-in-progress photos, log onto the marine architecture’s home page and link to his current projects.

Christening of the new vessel is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2002. The event will be held in downtown Norfolk on the pier at Nauticus. Invitations will be mailed. University Events is in charge of the event.
