Correction to Spring 2002 Catalyst
In the world of print, the greatest fear of any editor (or writer) is to make a glaring mistake. Most of us can live with the occasional comma splice or incorrect apostrophe. Readers should remember that Catalyst is an annual publication. Oftentimes, it takes months of working with one article to get it into the finished product. Copy flows back and forth to the faculty member, researcher or alumnus numerous times until everyone is satisfied. Then it goes to University Publications for final approval. The student organization that hosted “Pie a Professor Day” was the American Chemical Society (ACS) student affiliates with co-sponsor TriBeta.
