New Interim Associate Dean

The College of Sciences would like to welcome Dr. C. Michael Overstreet, associate professor of computer science, as its interim associate dean.

Overstreet came to Old Dominion University in 1984 as an assistant professor of computer science. He also served his department and college as graduate program director in the Department of Computer Science from 1989 – 1994. Before joining Old Dominion he was an assistant professor of computer science for the University of Alabama, assistant director for the Office of Institutional Research at Virginia Tech and instructor of computer science at Virginia Tech. In the summer of 2000, he was a visiting professor at the Fachhochschule fur Technik und Wirtschaft, Berlin, Germany.
