Message from the Dean

I am pleased to welcome you to the College of Sciences.  In this website you will find detailed information about the extensive and very competitive undergraduate and graduate programs in the College and our state-of-the-art research programs.  The College consists of seven Departments and several Centers.

The College is providing undergraduate and graduate programs of the highest quality.  Our objective is to continue creating and maintaining a strong academic environment where students can learn and discover.  The College is focused on both teaching and research and we very much value and favor both.  Our undergraduate programs are designed to provide to the students an exceptional academic experience, to prepare them for an increasingly competitive workplace, and to encourage their creativity and innovation.  Our majors have the opportunity to pursue undergraduate research and participate in an internship in their field of study.  Both provide a substantial exposure to the real world and very important competitive advantages for their future careers.
